Privacy Provisions

Von Stierlitz Technologies Ltd. (VST) is seriously committed towards protecting the privacy of its users when processing personal data and considers this for all business processes. VST observes the pertinent data protection guidelines. These data protection provisions apply to all services offered on websites operated by VST as well as to all online and mobile games offered by VST but not to pages belonging to other providers to which the website may link. In this respect, the data provision conditions of the relevant provider shall apply.

User data will only be collected and stored with user’s prior permission. During registration users are asked for some personal information. These queries are restricted to data which is required to provide the requested service and applications. Depending on the requested service this data can include: e-mail, first name, last name, username, password or postal address.

VST retains the right to change or to complement these privacy provisions with future effect at any time, if it’s necessary and the user in good faith is not disadvantaged. Any changes in these privacy provisions will be announced in a suitable way by notification in written form. Generally notification takes place by publication on the websites or mobile applications of the VST operated games and / or the respective services, or by e-mail. Any changes of these provisions will be shown to the user in either case with prominent announcement at the next login after changes has been made.

Use of your Data

Personal data is only used to provide the requested service. It will only be stored and used further with user’s explicit permission. Such permissions will be protocolled. If the requested service or application is limited in time the data will be deleted from the systems accordingly. Without any permission VST will not be able to provide the requested service or application.

Assessment, Storage, and Processing of voluntarily provided Additional Data

If users agree on voluntarily providing additional data for VST to be used for individual customer care it will be stored independently from the time frame of the requested service or application. Such permissions will be protocolled as well. Since some services are provided via partnerships it is necessary to share assessed data with those partners. Again the use is restricted to providing the according service. If data is assessed and/or managed by a company other than VST users will be informed.

VST’s registration form requires users to give contact information (like their name, email and password). Contact information from the registration forms is used to provide information about VST. The user's contact information is also used to get in touch with the customer when necessary.

To improve the quality of our service we will analyze anonym usage statistics. This data is non-personal. Naturally our advertisement partners will not be informed what individual user clicked on a certain ad -provided you have not explicitly permitted us otherwise.

VST receives and stores certain information whenever a user visits an VST website. VST uses IP address to help diagnose problems with servers and to administer the website, and to help identify users. Any information user voluntarily provides to VST is used for such purposes as customizing shopping experience, allowing VST to respond to your requests and comments, and improving the website.

Additionally, users should be aware that when they voluntarily disclose personally identifiable information (e.g., user name, e-mail address) on non-secure areas of VST’s site, that information, along with any substantive information disclosed in the user's communication, can be collected and correlated and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or third parties. Such activities are beyond the control of VST.

With their registration, users confirm that they agree to receive regular email information about the game (e.g. information about updates, etc.) for which they have initially registered / fully registered, as well as a newsletter with current information about other games, etc. Users can, at any time, send VST a message that they no longer wish to receive such information. In addition, users always have the option to opt out via a special link located directly in the information about the game or in the newsletter to stop any further receipt.

Use of Cookies

Users should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected through the standard operation of VST’s internet servers or through the use of “cookies.” “Cookies” are small text files a web site can use to recognize repeat users, facilitate the user’s ongoing access to and use of the site and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements and targeted advertising. Cookies are not programs that come onto a user’s system and damage files. Generally, cookies work by assigning a unique number to the user that has no meaning outside the assigning site. Users should be aware that VST cannot control the use of cookies or the resulting information by advertisers or third parties hosting data for VST. If a user does not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows the user to deny or accept the cookie feature; however, users should note that cookies may be necessary to provide the user with certain features (e.g., customized delivery of information) available on VST’s websites.

Data Transfer to Third Parties

VST will treat user data with the strictest confidentiality and will not disclose it to any third parties, unless users have given VST express permission to do so. VST may however be required by law to disclose user information in certain situations (such as to an investigating authority) where the transfer takes place only within the framework required by legal conventions.

Users are aware that parts of the data processing might be operated by Von Stierlitz Technologies Ltd.. in Kaliningrad, Russia. In individual cases, subsidiaries, parent companies or third parties may provide services on VST’s behalf. This mainly concerns the handling of payment transactions by external service providers (PayPal, Global Collect, etc.) and, in the case of default, by a debt collection company. These external companies are obliged to handle all data confidentially and securely, and may only use the data insofar as it is required for completing their directive.

Deletion of personal data

Users can revoke permission to the storage of required personal information any time either in written or electronic form. Furthermore users can revoke permission to the assessment and storage of voluntarily provided additional data in the same manner. VST’s postal address is:

Von Stierlitz Technologies Ltd.
Ul. Gaidara 89-1
236000 Kaliningrad Russia

Alternatively users can unsubscribe from the specific game’s website (e.g.: https://catsempire-online.zendesk.com/hc/en-us). In case of such a withdraw of all permissions, certain services like newsletter or user raffles cannot be provided to this user anymore. Google Analytics This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files saved on user’s computer which make possible the analysis of the usage of VST websites. The information about the usage of VST websites that is generated by the cookie is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If, however, users activate the anonym IP option on this website, Google will remove the end of user’s IP address so it only locates the user as within the member states of the European Union or other members of the European Economic Area. Only in rare cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then shortened there. On behalf of the owner of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the usage of the website, to compile reports about website activity and to provide to the website owner additional services associated with website and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted from user’s browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data. By using the respective setting in the browser, users can prohibit cookies from being saved. If they do so, they are aware that they may not be able to fully use the complete functionality of this website. Furthermore, users can prohibit Google from collecting and analyzing the data generated by the cookie about the usage of the website (including the IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available here: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Facebook/Other Social Networks Integration

The website can include the so-called Facebook button "Like", which is exclusively operated by the social network Facebook and thus by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook“). Should users click on the Facebook button "Like" they will be asked by Facebook, if they do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged into their Facebook account, to register with Facebook in order to use the function. The consequence is that user information is transferred to Facebook. However, should the user already have a Facebook account and is logged into the Facebook account parallel to the visit to the website, a connection is automatically created to Facebook's servers, in other words, even without clicking on the Facebook button; this means that data is transferred to Facebook immediately following the user’s visit to the website. The transfer of the data and the allocation to the Facebook account therefore takes place automatically without any further notification. VST has no influence on this. Users can only prevent this transfer if they log out of their Facebook account beforehand. VST expressly points out that users can obtain further information about the data which Facebook collects and the individual rights in this regard from Facebook's website and the data protection provisions stated there. Users can read Facebook's data protection provisions on page: http://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
